For three days in December, Nnewi folks were in a festive mood, as the town’s revered ruler, Igwe Orizu celebrated the 50th anniversary of his reign with a colourful Ofala festival, reports KEMI YESUFU. It was pomp and ceremony recently when one of Nigeria’s longest serving traditional rulers, Igwe Kenneth Orizu of Nnewi, Anambra State celebrated his 50th anniversary on the throne.
